Scoring Overview
Our fantasy golf scoring system is designed to reward various aspects of golf performance, from tournament placement to individual hole scores. This comprehensive system ensures that every shot matters, creating an engaging and strategic experience for all players.
Standard Scoring System

| Tournament Victory | 100 | Awarded to the golfer who wins the tournament |
| 2nd Place Finish | 70 | Awarded to the golfer who finishes in 2nd place |
| 3rd Place Finish | 60 | Awarded to the golfer who finishes in 3rd place |
| Top 5 Finish | 50 | Awarded to golfers who finish in positions 4-5 |
| Top 10 Finish | 30 | Awarded to golfers who finish in positions 6-10 |
| Top 25 Finish | 15 | Awarded to golfers who finish in positions 11-25 |
| Made Cut | 10 | Awarded to all golfers who make the tournament cut |
| Birdie | 3 | One stroke under par on a hole |
| Eagle | 8 | Two strokes under par on a hole |
| Hole in One | 25 | Completing a hole with just one stroke |
| Par | 0.5 | Completing a hole in the standard number of strokes |
| Bogey | -1 | One stroke over par on a hole |
| Double Bogey | -3 | Two strokes over par on a hole |
| Triple Bogey or Worse | -5 | Three or more strokes over par on a hole |
| Streak of 3+ Birdies | 5 | Bonus for 3 or more consecutive birdies |
| Bogey-Free Round | 10 | Completing a round without any bogeys or worse |
| Round Under 70 | 5 | Completing a round in less than 70 strokes |
Major Championship Bonus Points
During the four major championships (The Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open, and The Open Championship), all points are multiplied by 1.5 to reflect the increased significance of these tournaments.
Example:
A tournament victory in a regular PGA Tour event awards 100 points. A victory in The Masters would award 150 points (100 × 1.5).
Special Tournament Formats
Match Play Events
For match play tournaments (like the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play), we use a different scoring system:
- Match Victory: 10 points
- Advancing to Next Round: 20 points
- Tournament Victory: 100 points
Team Events
For team competitions (like the Ryder Cup or Presidents Cup):
- Match Victory: 15 points
- Match Halved: 7.5 points
- Team Victory Bonus: 20 points
Season-Long Competitions
In our season-long fantasy leagues, additional points are awarded for:

With the 1.5x point multiplier, golfers who excel in major championships can provide significant point boosts.
Balanced Approach
Consider building a team with a mix of consistent performers and potential tournament winners.
